Apple vs. Blackberry

by admin on September 20, 2009

The new Blackberry ‘Storm’ has already been labeled an ‘iPhone killer’, if only because it is the first Blackberry to have the touch-screen feature. But do the other specs add up to contend against the infamous iPhone? Becoming one of iPhone’s many rivals, one can only compare the features in both phones to decide which is best.

The Google Android Phone was recently released, and although many ‘Anti-iPhone’ consumers had only positive things to say about it, it still lacked something that kept it from beating the iPhone. And for this reason it is possible to think that the Blackberry Storm might be put in a similar category.

At a glance they seem to have all the same features, however Blackberry wins in a few key categories. For example, the Storm beats iPhone in the video recording category; supporting multiple video formats that the iPhone does not. As well as supporting more email platforms and clients.

Depending on what your phone is primarily used for will most likely decide which mobile you would choose. Blackberry has always been more focused on professionals in a business and corporate setting, where the iPhone is more for the use of the general public. Both have their pros and cons, and coming up almost as equals in their specs.
