This is where this stylish phone delivers. The LG KS360 is designed to appeal to the younger crowd. Its cool design and variety of colors to choose from make it very appealing to the 12 to 16 years old crowd, while the built-in QWERTY keyboard and excellent performance make it a phone to remember.

It’s a phone that focuses primarily on texting and emailing, but it performs nicely as a music player. An SD card slot allows for an expanded memory, which you will be thankful for. Its camera doesn’t deserve the good reviews the rest of the phone does. It’s awkwardly positioned and it lacks auto-zoom and a flash. But in this kind of phone, the camera is just an extra, so it performs adequately.

Battery life is incredibly long – LG announces 15 days on stand-by, which is impressive, to say the least. It also works very well as a web browser and the combination of the QWERTY keyboard with a well calibrated touch screen make it very easy to use.

Passwords may seem like a pain but without them all sorts of personal data would be up for grabs. Unfortunately, due to complex phishing scams and fake sites a lot of people unwillingly type their passwords into places that allow cyber criminals to get hold of them. Another way that criminals obtain passwords is by infecting your machine with virus’ and Trojans. These may contain sophisticated keyloggers that track every time a key is pressed and is recorded in a log. Every so often this log then automatically emails itself to the author of the Trojan. By scanning this log file for words that pertain to online email accounts or banks the criminal can then gain access to your password.

Remember to always use a different password for each email address, bank account, forum etc that you visit. This will narrow down the possibility of one website being hacked and all of your passwords being discovered.

It is also vital to make sure that you have adequate antivirus software on your computer. You can also make sure your computer isn’t infected with adware by visiting k7computing.com

With this new feature, your Gmail messages are forwarded directly to your phone. The connection is always-on so your inbox is updated in real time. It also works with your phone’s email capability so there is no need to download, install, or setup new software. Same with Google calendar: accessed through your phone’s calendar you can import your appointments and get alerts with sound or vibration. You can add or edit contact information on your phone or on your Google account online, so you have access to your address book anywhere, anytime. You also have the option of which Google application you’d like to sync, Gmail, Calendar, or Contacts, or all three. Fully customizable and always reliable, now you have full access to your favorite Gmail features right from your mobile.

The new Blackberry ‘Storm’ has already been labeled an ‘iPhone killer’, if only because it is the first Blackberry to have the touch-screen feature. But do the other specs add up to contend against the infamous iPhone? Becoming one of iPhone’s many rivals, one can only compare the features in both phones to decide which is best.

The Google Android Phone was recently released, and although many ‘Anti-iPhone’ consumers had only positive things to say about it, it still lacked something that kept it from beating the iPhone. And for this reason it is possible to think that the Blackberry Storm might be put in a similar category.

At a glance they seem to have all the same features, however Blackberry wins in a few key categories. For example, the Storm beats iPhone in the video recording category; supporting multiple video formats that the iPhone does not. As well as supporting more email platforms and clients.

Depending on what your phone is primarily used for will most likely decide which mobile you would choose. Blackberry has always been more focused on professionals in a business and corporate setting, where the iPhone is more for the use of the general public. Both have their pros and cons, and coming up almost as equals in their specs.

The elegant new slider from Sony Ericsson may be small, but packs a lot of features. From their Walkman series, it naturally comes with more music features than most phones. Playlists, music recognition, PlayNow arena for instant access to games, music etc. are some of the more basic. The newer features include SenseMe, which creates playlists based on mood and tempo. There is also the Shake control that is unique to the walkman series, allowing you to shuffle your music by a flick of your wrist.

Besides being an efficient mp3 player, it also has a 3.2 Megapixel camera, with digital zoom and blogging capability for both photos and videos. Also equipped with Wayfinder Navigator, you are able to get turn-by-turn navigation and unlimited access to travel planning tools and downloadable maps online. The battery offers 9 hours of calls and 400 hours of standby. You can also ‘drag-and-drop’ files from your PC to your phone or vice versa. It can handle intense gaming, blogging, and organization, making it a well-rounded, functional mobile choice. All of this in a sleek, compact, sliding design.

Last year produced many of the best, most cutting-edge, and most popular cellphones to date. Starting with Apple’s 2nd Gen iPhone, the 3G, which made every other cellphone manufacturer scramble to come up with an equivalent or alternative. Progress was fast tracked and the market released the Sony Ericsson Xperia Z1, Samsung Omnia, the Google-powered G1, and the Blackberry Bold.

The iPhone spread in popularity not only in the U.S., but in Europe and worldwide alike. With the new 3G connectivity, application developers were encouraged to create more and more applications, which are available to download in the Apple “Apps Store”. It has become an archive of compatible, functional extensions for any and every subject imaginable.

Not long after, Google’s G1 was released, which was quickly labeled the “iPhone killer”. Not only does it have the entire Google fanbase behind it, it also supports applications much like the iPhone, and competing with almost every other feature. The other contenders in the mobile market quickly followed; popular names such as the Blackberry, and Sony Ericsson released their ‘iPhone alternatives’.

Although the iPhone seems to be the first, there are so many options now this year that are fighting for the spotlight in the market.

It’s not easy being a webmaster. Most of a webmaster’s tasks can be both tiring and frustrating. Imagine having to manage and maintain several websites and domains for different clients all at the same time. What is heartening is that there is a huge support group of fellow webmasters all over the world who are willing to share their knowledge and expertise on all things involving the management and maintenance of websites.

If you are angling to become a webmaster yourself, there are several important tasks that are the very basics in helping you become a master of your craft. One is monitoring website statistics. Part of a webmaster’s job is to promote clients’ websites, and to make sure you are doing a good job, you will have to check each of the websites’ statistics regularly to find out what you are doing right in order to maintain it, and to determine where you have gone wrong to enable you to fix it.
You will need to keep track of all the login details of each of the sites you maintain, including all usernames and passwords. This is crucial in order to have easy access to all these websites through FTP. A webmaster also has the responsibility of creating frequent back-ups to prevent the accidental loss of each website’s data. This is particularly important if the servers the sites run on do not support data back-up automatically.
Webmasters likewise have to master email forwarding to redirect numerous email messages sent through various websites and domains. Most importantly, treating clients with the utmost confidentiality and the best customer service will keep you in demand as a webmaster for years to come.

There’s a saying that the hand that rocks your online cradle is the hand that clicks your world. It appears different from that movie you saw years back but this is perhaps the main responsibility of your webmaster. He makes sure that your products or services are captured in its best from and shown to the entire world to be appreciated.

Even you left all the techie stuff to the masters, you should be aware of the things they are doing even though you do not belong to their own little world. It’s your business in the first place and your hands-on management is what makes your business click and thrive in the market.

Cascading Style Sheets or otherwise known as CSS allow you to dictate precisely everything from the size of the fonts, columns and even making words go bold, italicized or underlines. This actually is the control panel of your webpage.

JavaScript, PHP and Perl are the most commonly-used programming languages. They allow more complicated operations to run in your website. These are some of the languages that your web people frequently talk about during breaks. Be thankful for these inventions for your website can run as smoothly as it was dreamt of and you can freely advertise to the general public that you have the best products or services in town too.

Being able to converse alien-speak with your I.T. people bridges the communication barrier that have across departments. This is your team and your own arsenal.
