Google Sync

by admin on September 27, 2009

Gmail has recently added support to Google Sync for Windows Mobile devices, iPhone, and the iPod Touch. With Google Sync, you can synchronize your mobile (Windows Mobile, iPhone, and S60) with your Gmail contacts and Google calendar.

With this new feature, your Gmail messages are forwarded directly to your phone. The connection is always-on so your inbox is updated in real time. It also works with your phone’s email capability so there is no need to download, install, or setup new software. Same with Google calendar: accessed through your phone’s calendar you can import your appointments and get alerts with sound or vibration. You can add or edit contact information on your phone or on your Google account online, so you have access to your address book anywhere, anytime. You also have the option of which Google application you’d like to sync, Gmail, Calendar, or Contacts, or all three. Fully customizable and always reliable, now you have full access to your favorite Gmail features right from your mobile.
